Our Story In Brief

​

Learn Lasso is a Father & Son project.

 

Louis has been involved with horses since he was born and began riding aged 4. He got hooked on roping and we decided to set up Learn Lasso as a team in 2022.

​

Charlie has been riding since 2002. He started the Classical English way but fell in love with Western Riding and Western horses, especially Leopard spot Appaloosas. He is not a professional equestrian, although he worked as an assistant to the "Western Pleasure" trainer Francesco Bassi, holder of a World Championship title in that discipline. He also worked with CW Western Training filming horsemanship videos, and designing and building a membership website for her training programme. Somewhere along the way Charlie picked up a lasso and the rest is history!
